Lenovo launched the Legion Go 2 in the US at $1,349.99, but the latest listing now shows a sharp increase that changes how buyers look at this handheld. The same model with Ryzen Z2 Extreme, 32GB RAM, and 1TB storage is now listed at $1,999.99, and the product is also marked unavailable, which raises more questions about pricing stability and stock.

Best Buy currently shows the Legion Go 2 at $1,999.99, which is a $650 jump from its official launch price. That pushes the device nearly 48 percent higher than what early buyers expected, and the gap becomes more noticeable when compared with similar handhelds in the same performance tier.
ASUS offers the ROG Xbox Ally X at $999.99, which places Lenovo’s pricing at almost double for a system using a similar Z2 Extreme class chip. This makes the Legion Go 2 harder to justify, especially when buyers expect competitive pricing within the same category.
Lenovo still offers an 8.8-inch 144Hz 2K OLED display, along with high RAM and storage, but the overall Windows handheld experience already faces criticism for slow response and awkward controls. At this price level, those issues matter more and reduce the device’s appeal.
