Several new game trailers and announcements were made over the weekend as part of IGN’s “Fan Fest” event, many of them Xbox- and Game Pass-related.
New Redfall trailer
One of the biggest reveals from the event was a new developer Q&A video for Redfall.
Topics discussed in the video include a more in-depth explanation of the game’s weaponry, and how Redfall’s open world will set itself apart from other looter shooters out there. Redfall releases May 2nd on Xbox Game Pass.
New trailer for Lies of P
Also showcased with a new trailer was another highly anticipated title coming to Xbox Game Pass in 2023: Lies of P. Along with the announcement of an August release on various platforms including Xbox Game Pass, the game got a new trailer showing off more of its gorgeously dark take on Pinocchio.
Diablo IV open beta
Also showcased during IGN Fan Fest 2023 was Diablo IV, along with the announcement that the game will have an open beta test ahead of its June 6 release. The beta will be March 24-26 (or March 17-19 for those who preorder).
Other announcements
- Also out of IGN Fan Fest is the official launch trailer for Starship Troopers: Extermination.
- Layers of Fear, which is also headed to Xbox in June, was show off with a “release time reveal” trailer.
- The Last Case of Benedict Fox also showed off a new trailer ahead of the game’s upcoming launch on Game Pass in April.
