Interested users can join a waitlist for access to the new version, which will be initially launched in the United States via both the Google app and Chrome’s desktop browser. As a result, Gemini’s broader range of capabilities indicates it can be employed for more diverse assignments than ChatGPT.
Amidst a frenzy of AI innovation in search engines and productivity tools emanating from competitors like Microsoft, Google has taken significant steps to keep up with the shifting industry landscape. ChatGPT’s viral success has reportedly prompted a “code red” situation for Google’s search business. As a result, the company is introducing extensions within its services, such as Gmail, Sheets, and Docs, thus enabling users to access Bard’s chatbot features within the apps they’re currently using.
