Viggle app for Windows 8.1 rewards you for watching TV and discovering music

Ever feel like you should be rewarded for watching TV or finding new music? You can with the official Viggle app for Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone. Viggle quickly samples the audio you are listening to by holding up your device to the source of the audio and gives you Viggle Points for checking into any TV show. You can also earn Viggle Points for matching or buying songs. You can collect and redeem your Viggle Points for free music, electronics, entertainment experiences, gift cards, and much more.

“Viggle automatically identifies the television shows users are watching and awards them points when they check-in. Vigglers also get rewarded for listening to music. Get Viggle Points for each Matched song and buy your favorites within the app. Users can redeem their points in the Viggle rewards catalog for items such as movie tickets, music, gift cards, sweepstakes entries or they can convert points into charitable donations,” the service description states.

If you check into certain featured shows and songs, which you can see via the app, you can earn 2x, 5x, or even 10x the points. Play along to shows and sports to score even more points. The app allows you to access exclusive celebrity content and set custom reminders so you don’t miss a show. The app also lets you utilize your points in the Viggle Store so you can snag rewards like movie tickets and gift cards from popular locations like Best Buy, Lowes, Gap, Fandango, and more.

“Viggle is an Entertainment Rewards Platform that allows users to gain points for engaging with the entertainment they love. Presently, that includes awarding points to users for watching and interacting with their favorite TV shows and listening to music. But that’s just the start. Viggle is constantly looking at new opportunities to reward users for their loyalty to entertainment and brands,” the company description reads.

This app has already been available for Android and iOS. Grab the app for Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone via the download link below and see how many points you can muster up. The app is free.
