Earlier this year, Microsoft transitioned from the Surface Audio app to the Surface app with the aim of enhancing the audio experience for users. As it now appears, Microsoft has rolled out a new update for the app both on Windows 11 and Windows 10 which features several changes.

According to the changelog, here are the changes users can expect once they make the update:

  • Added notification for Windows Updates
  • Improvements to Surface keyboards and mice experience
  • Improvements to audio equalizer and headphones tutorials volume
  • Quality and stability improvements

As spotted by the folks at Neowin, last month, Microsoft also rolled out an update that featured an “improved experience for smart charging and quality and stability improvements.” Therefore, this update will considerably improve the app’s usage for users. Be sure to update your Surface App to the latest version, 61.5058.139.0. to gain access to all these features that will help you improve your Surface audio experience.
