Subway Surfers to add compatibility for 512MB handsets in its July 10 update

The popular game, Subway Surfers, will soon run on Windows Phone handsets that feature 512MB of RAM. The game, which presently demands 1GB or more memory, will offer compatibility with low-end devices in its latest update scheduled for July 10th.

“Kiloo is pleased to reveal the first version of Subway Surfers officially available for Windows Phone 8 devices with 512 MB RAM. As of the next update, players with 512 MB RAM devices will be able to travel with Jake and his friends on the World Tour,” a Kiloo spokesperson told WinBeta. So there it is, later this week, you will be able to run the game on your Lumia 520, Lumia 630, Lumia 620 and Lumia 720 handsets.

The update which is scheduled to arrive on July 10th will also add Paris city, alongside, new colorful outfits for Coco and Prince K. There will be a brand new sci-fi Teleporter board, as well as new power up awards.
