SharePoint 2016 hits Release to Manufacturing (RTM) – onmsft.com

Today marks an auspicious milestone for Microsoft’s content management platform, SharePoint Server 2016. Specifically, the on-premise and cloud-based content management solution has hit Release to Manufacturing (RTM), meaning that customers will soon have access to its enhanced features.

Customers will be able to access SharePoint Service 2016 in early May from Microsoft’s Volume Licensing Service Center, and you can learn more about the solution by accessing a reviewer’s guide or downloading a trial version. Microsoft will also be hosting a live online event on May 4, where the company will provide information on their vision and future plans for the solution. You can register for this event here.
