Fly iq400w

In recent months, Microsoft has added a handful of new hardware partners for Windows Phone — 14 new OEMs who launched almost 22 new devices in the last few months. Windows Phone 8.1 plays an important role in the recent growth of devices with Microsoft’s operating system, so does the collaboration with Qualcomm, making it easier for manufacturers to create devices using their chipsets.

Recently, a Russian-based company Fly released their own entry-level handset dubbed as Fly IQ400W. The device runs Windows Phone 8.1 as its operating system, and comes with a very affordable price tag of 3,990 rubles (almost $100). Fly IQ400W comes with a 4-inch display boasting a resolution of 480 by 800 pixels, a quad-core Snapdragon 200 SoC, and a 512MB of RAM. There’s 4GB of internal storage, coupled with a microSD card that can support up to 32GB of additional storage for space hungry users, and a 5MP primary camera for photos and videos.

The handset comes with a similar set of specifications as the Nokia Lumia 530, as well as a similar price tag, so it will be interesting to see how the handset performs in the Russian market.

Thanks Pavel for the tip!!
