Kinect 2.0 specs leak, improvements all round

It appears new details regarding the next version of Kinect have leaked onto the web today, revealing new information that shows Kinect 2.0 as being an overall improvement.

The leaked details include information about new hardware specs. Kinect 2.0 will be an overall improvement from the first generation, but won’t significantly change the way Kinect is used.

The new Kinect will be able to track up to 6 people at one time, as well as tell if a players hand is open or closed. Skeletal tracking has also been improved.

Of course, take the information with a grain of salt as it could be fake.
