Font Candy launches on Windows Phone

The developers behind the pretty cool SplitPic have just released another free image editing app for Windows Phone, this time focusing on text overlays and meme creation. Their new app, Font Candy, allows users to import an image from their phone’s camera roll or Facebook account, do some basic editing such as resizing and cropping before adding whatever text they choose in a variety of font styles and colors. The app also has the ability to edit character spacing, shadow, and alignment and any created images can be shared to a variety of social media accounts such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Tumblr.

Image editing and creating on Windows Phone has come a long way with a variety of design apps now available on the Windows Phone Store. One of the most popular ones is the third-party Instagram app, 6tag, which recently updated with exciting new UI changes and significant image quality improvements.

Which apps do you use on your Windows Phone to edit images? Let us know in the comments!
