You might be aware of Victoria 3, a grand strategy game from Paradox Interactive. Last year, Paradox Interactive announced that they were planning to launch the entry in Xbox Game Pass for PC, though they did not give an official date.

But as it now seems, these plans may not come to pass. Paradox announced that it will not be moving forward with its initial plans to launch the game in Xbox Game Pass upon deliberations with its partners.

According to Paradox:

The game will be a Steam exclusive at the release – after discussion with our partners it was decided that Victoria 3 won’t be a part of Game Pass or Microsoft Store. Xbox fans of Paradox’s epic grand strategy titles can enjoy our games like Crusader Kings III, Stellaris, Shadowrun Trilogy, Hearts of Iron IV and more with Game Pass today and we look forward to sharing more details on our next partnership with Xbox in the future.

This means that the entry will be exclusive on Steam. Paradox did highlight that they look forward to working with Xbox in the future.
