Bamboo Paper launches on Windows 8.1, helps you capture your thoughts and ideas

We just wrote about Bamboo Page, an app for quick notes and sketches optimized for Windows 8.1. But now our attention is on Bamboo Paper, a brand new app that has hit the Windows Store. This app lets you turn your Windows 8.1 tablet into a paper notebook.

“Turn your Windows 8 tablet into a paper notebook. Bamboo Paper helps you capture your thoughts and ideas. Taking notes, sketching and drawing is as straightforward and as simple as using a real pen and paper,” the app description reads. This app is a much more improved version of Bamboo Page.

The app lets you use a selection of pen tools for writing, sketching, coloring, and marking. This app seems to have the same feature set as Bamboo Paper, but is a lot newer as it was just released to the Windows Store. The app features a zoom function, so you can draw or write precise lines to fit more into one page.

You can annotate by adding images or photos to your page. The app also features a full screen mode so you can focus on what you are drawing. You can even share your notebooks with friends or colleagues using Bamboo Paper on Windows 8, Android and iOS, or export your work to a variety of cloud services and social media (like Dropbox, Evernote, Tumblr, Twitter, Facebook, etc).

If you grab the app right now, all premium writing and drawing tools are free. This offer is for a limited time only and will expire if you uninstall the app. Hit the download link below to snag it.

Thanks for sending this in, Steveo!
