Xbox

Backwards-compatibility has become kind of a big thing; first announced by Microsoft at E3, it is now something of a rallying cry for the Xbox One faithful.

And no doubt intrigued by the possibilities posed by the enthusiastic response, EA is now reportedly considering making certain Xbox 360 titles from its EA Access Vault available for the Xbox One, provided that they are compatible in the first place.

@metalgamerpops We’re investigating adding backwards compatible EA games to EA Access in the future. Stay tuned.

If this goes ahead, it could prove to have big implications for the platform. Much of the popularity of the Xbox systems in the past has been heightened by the presence of big releases such as FIFA, this is a massive mine of nostalgia that has yet to be tapped.

EA Access costs $4.99 monthly, or $29.99 a year, and allows access to a whole host of EA titles.

What Xbox 360 title would you most like to see made available on the EA Access Vault? Let us know in the comments below.
