You’re Late! Windows 8.1 Pre-RTM build 9483 has leaked

Windows 8.1 build 9483

Well would you look at that, a Pre-RTM build of Windows 8.1 has leaked onto the internet. Windows 8.1 Build 9483 is an RTM-escrow build, which is almost identical to the Windows 8.1 RTM. Differences include no new wallpapers and no timebomb. While this build is rather irrelevant now, it’s still a nice collectors item for those beta enthusiasts.

We recently saw the leak of the Windows 8.1 RTM, so we expect build 9483 to be overshadowed by future RTM leaks. This build is more for the beta enthusiasts who collect Windows development builds (like us). As this build is RTM-escrow, it’s almost identical to the RTM too, which means you won’t be seeing any major changes.

The build is Chinese which means it will take some work to translate into your native language, however as you can see from the screenshot above, people have already managed to translate the build to English.

As per usual, we will not be posting direct download links to this leak, and we also do not tolerate users posting download links in the comments section. As this is pre-release software we recommend you do not install as it could be unstable.
