Xbox Video and Netflix apps for Windows 8.1 receive updates, no change log available

Today has been a day filled with app updates for both Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone 8. Earlier today, we reported about the new Xbox Music and Xbox Video apps for Windows Phone 8. Now today – joining yesterdays Xbox Music update – we get treated to a new update to the Xbox Video app for Windows 8.1. Not to be outdone, the Netflix app also received an update.

With the Xbox Video app, you can purchase and watch movies and TV shows on your Windows Phone 8, Windows 8, or Windows RT device with ease. You can even watch a movie on your Windows 8.1 device via the app and resume where you left off on your Windows Phone 8 device. Pretty neat feature.

No change log was provided for the Xbox Video app update, but we’d venture an educated guess and say that this update fixes some bugs and improves performance, along with better sync compatibility with the Xbox Video counterpart on Windows Phone 8.

Netflix, on the other hand, also rolled out an update for the official Netflix app. No change log was provided.

You can grab both app updates via the download links below. Let us know in the comments below if you notice any new improvements or features.
