Xbox One with Kinect

If you own an Xbox One you can get a free trial thirty day trial of Sling TV. If you don’t already own an Xbox One and purchase one at a Microsoft store or through Microsoft’s website you can receive a three month trial for a limited time.

Cord cutters and those considering cutting traditional cable have been intrigued by the idea of Sling TV. Sling TV provides a core group of popular channels such as ESPN, Cartoon Network, and HGTV, and more for $20 per month with the option to purchase additional packages such as Sports Extra, News Extra, and Hollywood Extra. Xbox’s website posted a video of the Major Nelson running through the features of Sling TV.

Some of the highlights of the video include the fact that you can save movies to your watch list and watch select movies for up to three days with a feature called ‘three day replay.’ Sling TV has clearly worked to integrate their product into the Xbox One ecosystem. You can control Sling TV with Kinect voice controls and pin specific items to your home screen. At the moment Sling TV is only available in the United States.
