The Xbox One’s May Update is now Live, brings several audio improvements

The May update to Xbox One console is now available to download. As announced earlier, this month’s update includes features like sound mixer, Kinect chat volume controls, and better speech recognition for Xbox One.

Microsoft remains committed to providing monthly updates to Xbox One. This new update concentrates largely on audio. Sound Mixer lets you control the volume of two different apps — letting you decide which app sounds louder, when you’re using Snaps. Improvements to Kinect chat is also welcoming addition, which a lot of us Xbox One owners have been itching for.

Voice recognition is one of Xbox One’s chief feature, and the update brings several improvements to it. So what are you waiting for? Go to Settings > System update and snag the latest update and enjoy your weekend!
