Xbox One gets $50 price cut ahead of holiday season in the United States

If you’re planning to buy an Xbox One, you may want to wait until this weekend. Microsoft has just announced that it is slashing $50 off of Xbox One, and Kinect-less Xbox One starting November 2. This is a limited-time promotional offer, and valid in the United States only.

The company is also introducing several new bundles, including the Special Edition Sunset Overdrive white console, Xbox One Assassin’s Creed Bundle Without Kinect, Xbox, Xbox One Assassin’s Creed Bundle With Kinect, and Xbox One Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. The price cut will also be valid on the special bundles.

The promotion will begin on November 2, and last through January 3, 2015. You can grab the discounted bundles from Microsoft Stores, Amazon, Best Buy, Target, Toys ‘R Us, GameStop, and Wal-Mart. For a recap, the Kinect-free Xbox One will cost you $349 (down from $399), and Xbox One with Kinect for $449 (down from $499).

Hopefully, this will further improve the Xbox One sales, which has been doing quite well already. In its earnings call, Microsoft said that the Xbox sales were up by 102%, selling 2.4million units.
