Xbox one to get small update today, preparing for possible windows 10 integration

Just ahead of E3 2015, the Xbox One is getting a small update today. According to Major Nelson on Twitter, the small update has no new features or content, only that it is “just a few behind the scenes changes to prepare for the future.” I can only assume that Microsoft is getting the Xbox One ready for Windows 10. No one knows yet what exactly Microsoft plans to announce for the Xbox One at E3, so this is just my own speculation at the moment.

Your Xbox One will get a small update today. No new features. Just a few behind the scenes changes to prepare for the future.

I am eagerly awaiting the Xbox announcements coming at E3, i am also intrigued to see the new games that will come to the Xbox One this year and the next. Fallout 4 has me particularly excited as I can remember playing Fallout 3 for hours upon hours. Since Fallout 3 released in 2008, Fallout 4 is long overdue. No telling what the small update is preparing the Xbox One for, so we will just have to wait and see what Microsoft is planning.
