Xbox One to be priced at $565 instead of $800

The long awaited Xbox One will finally be released in China, in September of this year. One of the most important question is how much the Xbox One will cost once it launches. Last month, a Chinese online electronics site posted a picture detailing that Xbox One will cost 4,999 RMB ($800) when it launches, which is $300 more than everywhere else!

However, another picture was leaked yesterday by Weibo (a Chinese micro-blogging website) which indicates that the price of Xbox One “limited edition” is going to be 3,499 RMB ($565) instead of 4,999 RMB. Chinese news site WPDang also confirmed the new price.

The picture posted at Weibo states that the 3,4999 RMB bundle includes the console, one customized controller, the Kinect sensor, along with a 100 RMB coupon for shopping on JD.com, 100 RMB coupon for users who are willing to purchase another controller, a 1,000 RMB gift pack and three “blockbuster” games which weren’t mentioned.
