The Windows 10 and Xbox One versions of Astroneer have all updated to add support for crossplay between the two versions as part of Microsoft’s Xbox Play Anywhere initiative. This means that Xbox One users can now play with Windows 10 players and visa versa.
Other changes made with this update include improvements to visuals and physics, a fix for a digging glitch, and framerate improvements. Astroneer is a space exploration and discovery game that launched in late-2016. Here’s the official game description:
Astroneer is set during a 25th century gold rush where players must explore the frontiers of outer space, risking their lives and resources in harsh environments for the chance of striking it rich. On this adventure, a player’s most useful tool is their ability to shape their world, altering the terrain and extracting valuable resources from planets, and moons. Resources can be traded or crafted into new tools, vehicles, and modules to create everything from massive industrial bases to mobile rover bases.
