In an official YouTube Google+ posting, Google mentions that Xbox Live Gold subscribers now have access to an updated YouTube app. This new update makes things five times faster and includes channels with official music videos. This update is available for Xbox Gold subscribers.
“Achievement Unlocked: The YouTube app on Xbox is now up to 5X faster, and includes channels with official music videos. For Xbox LIVE Gold members, the app will update automatically when you login, or you can download it from the Xbox Live Marketplace,” the official posting stated. Microsoft introduced the YouTube app for the Xbox 360 entertainment console back in December as the company’s initiative in creating a more entertainment-centric console. For those who have an Xbox Live Gold subscription, now is the time to update that app!
