Xbox Insiders on the Alpha ring receive a new build with fixes for Home and Party Chat

The Xbox team rolled out yesterday a new preview build to Xbox Insiders on the Alpha ring. This one is another minor update, which fixes two issues with Party Chat and Home that could crash in certain circumstances.

There is no known issues in this build, but you can find the detailed changelog below:

Available: 7:00PM PDT 4/30 (1:00AM GMT 1/5)

FIXES:

  • Party Chat: Fixed an issue that would result in Party chat crashing
  • Home: Fixed an issue that would result in Home crashing and showing as an App

Microsoft’s Brad Rossetti said a few days ago that Preview Beta participants would get their first 1705 preview build last week, but that didn’t happen. The new ETA is now this week, and we’ll let you know as soon as we get more details.
