Microsoft’s recently leaked Friends & Family tier of the company’s Xbox Game Pass video game subscription service has this week not just been confirmed but has launched in at least two regions.

As of the time of this writing, Game Pass Friends & Family is now live in both Ireland and Columbia with other regions, if not most or all current Game Pass regions, set to follow in the near future.

In Ireland, Game Pass Friends & Family is currently priced at 21.99 Euros which is around the cost of two separate Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriptions. The official Irish Game Pass website confirms that the Friends & Family tier supports up to five individuals which makes the price incredibly high value.

“One membership, five individual accounts,” the Irish Game Pass Friends & Family website reads. “Add up to four friends and family members, whether they live under the same roof or not. Each person uses their own account and Xbox profile to save their games, track their achievements, and receive personalised recommendations.”

Game Pass Friends & Family essentially gives each user access to the Game Pass Ultimate subscription which includes both Xbox and PC Game Pass video game libraries and access to Xbox Cloud Gaming on compatible devices with supported titles. EA Play membership and a number of discounts and bonus DLC for games are also included.
