Xbox Stage

With E3 2016 just two weeks away, and the Windows 10 Anniversary Update on the horizon, the excitement for Xbox’s E3 2016 briefing is no doubt at an all-time high. Just like last year, though, Microsoft is continuing with the Xbox FanFest, and is giving 500 lucky fans a one-of-a-kind and up-close and personal experience to participate in the gaming industry’s biggest showcase.

On the Xbox Wire, Microsoft notes that to take part in the Xbox FanFest you will need to be over the age of 21 and have a Xbox Live gamertag. Additionally, Microsoft notes that you will need a ticket from the Microsoft store at Westfield Century City in Los Angeles in order to participate. To obtain the ticket, you can line up starting on Saturday, June 11 at 10:00 p.m. PDT. Credentials will then be distributed to the first 500 fans in line, and FanFest tickets will be distributed to credential holders the following morning, Sunday, June 12 at 11:00 a.m. PDT. More details and all of the fine print is available for this event is available on the official Xbox FanFest E3 2016 page.

If you are lucky enough to attend you will be able to invited to the Xbox E3 2016 Briefing on Monday, June 13th, 9:30 am PDT, in downtown Los Angeles. You will also be able to play all-new exclusives and the biggest blockbuster games while meeting some of the industry’s top developers, leaders, and influencers. Additionally, you will be a guest at the special Forza Motorsport event at the Petersen Automotive Museum on Monday, June 13th and the “Fan Celebration” event at the Premiere House at Regal L.A. LIVE: A Barco Innovation Center on Tuesday, June 14th.  Perhaps more importantly, though, you will also get a custom backpack filled with gaming swag!

So, what do you think? Will you try your luck and line up to get the credentials? Or would you rather just stay home and watch from the comfort of your couch? Let us know your thoughts by dropping us a comment below!
