The Xbox team and Crystal Dynamics have announced their second Rise of the Tomb Raider poster as part of their celebration of Gamescom. The latest poster is part of a 4-piece limited edition series originally announced at San Diego Comic-Con in July.
The poster was designed by La Boca, a design studio that has received several awards, to celebrate Lara Croft and her destiny as the Tomb Raider. According to Scot Bendall, Co-founder and Creative Director of La Boca.
“We tried to follow a similar process we undertake when working on the movie poster. Trying to find the essence of the story without being too descriptive, we always try to present an image in the simplest way possible.”
“We wanted the poster to have a feel of being underground, discovering something wondrous. Exploring and uncovering a hidden place for the first time in centuries.”
