Just recently, Staples and Amazon were offering the new Acer Iconia W3, which is the world’s first 8 inch Windows 8 tablet, for pre-order. Now, Staples had launched sales of the new device in-store as well as online. So if you have been eagerly waiting for this device, head over to Staples now!

Acer revealed during Computex 2013 that the Iconia W3 would have an 8.1 inch display with 1280 x 800 resolution, powered by an Acer CrystalBrite LED-backlit TFT LCD with integrated 10-point multitouch screen. The Iconia W3 also features 720p video playback and claims to have roughly eight hours of battery life. The tablet also features an Intel dual-core 1.8GHz Atom Z2760 processor, with the choice of 32GB storage or 64GB storage. You can always expand the storage with an additional 32GB via microSD. The device also features up to 8 hours of battery life.

“Starting June 24, Staples will carry the new Acer Iconia W3 tablet – the world’s first Windows 8 tablet — in all Staples retail stores and Staples.com. Staples features interactive displays that allow customers to experience and learn more about the Acer Iconia W3. Additionally, Staples offers an amazing assortment of Acer Iconia W3 accessories,” Staples stated in a press release to us.

The Acer Iconia W3 also comes preinstalled with Microsoft Office Home and Student 2013, the software giant’s office productivity suite. Starting price for the device will be roughly around $349.99, while that may change due to discounts or deals. Head over to your local Staples to check it out!

Update: Staples has confirmed that pricing for the Acer Iconia W3 will start at $349.99
