Wolfenstein explores time before The New Order with The Old Blood standalone DLC

Much like Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon and Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious, Wolfenstein: The Old Blood is standalone DLC can be purchased and played without the need to have owned the main game. This format not only works as a way to offer additional content to those who purchased the full version but also doubles as an affordable entry point for those new to the larger franchise.

Wolfenstein: The Old Blood offers a similar gameplay experience to the recent hit, Wolfenstein: The New Order, though on a smaller scale. Set before the events of the main game in 1946, The Old Blood is split into two parts, Hail Mary and The Dark Secrets of Helga Von Schabbs and pits the player against numerous Nazis and horrific supernatural forces.

The gameplay is very similar to The New Order though several new features have been added such as new weapons like a pipe, a new pistol, a sawed-off shotgun and a bolt-action rifle along with new traversal options. Wolfenstein: The Old Blood is out now on Xbox One. Are you excited about more Wolfenstein?
