Windows XP retires in April of 2014, here’s 8 reasons to upgrade to Windows 8 (infographic)

Check out this infographic from Microsoft which showcases eight good reasons to upgrade to Windows 8. For those of you who are on Windows XP, your time to upgrade is almost near as Windows XP approaches its retirement on April 8th of 2014.

In the infographic (click the image below to see the infographic or visit the source link below), you will notice eight reasons to upgrade to Windows 8. Microsoft has also added a little tidbit indicating that Windows 8.1 makes Windows 8 even better. Microsoft is expected to roll out Windows 8.1, the next big update to Windows 8, in August of this year.

Windows XP may be nearing its retirement, but that’s not stopping the operating system from holding a 37.17% market share. Windows 8 currently has a 5.10% market share. Check out the graphic below and let us know in the comments below if you are still on Windows XP!
