Windows Store app highlight: Facebook+ Lite, an unofficial Facebook experience for Windows 8

As we all know, there is no official Facebook app for Windows 8. A newly released app called Facebook+ Lite offers you an unofficial Facebook experience for both Windows 8 and Windows RT. Best of all, this app is free and comes with several cool features. Take a look at its features below:

  • Easily view your Facebook feed the way you are used to: vertically and in a clean interface
  • Express yourself by commenting, liking & posting status
  • Easily share photos to Facebook from apps such as Photos app using Share charm
  • Upload multiple photos from within app
  • View your friends’ feed
  • Write on your friends’ feed
  • Birthdays – Live tile update of your friends’ birthdays
  • Browse your Facebook albums
  • Browse FB messages and notifications
  • See who’s invited/going/hot among your Facebook events
  • Browse friends using semantic zoom (press Ctrl+Dash, or pinch gesture)

Facebook+ Lite is available in the Windows Store for free and works on both Windows 8 and Windows RT. Grab it from the download link below.
