AppSwitch

AppSwitch is a new app that just hit the Windows Store and allows you to search for replacement apps that you use on Android or iOS. In other words, lets say you use a particular app on Android and you want to find the Windows 8-equivalent app, just use AppSwitch and it will tell you what app you need to get from the Windows Store!

“With AppSwitch for Windows 8, it’s easy to find replacement apps for those you have on your Apple iOS, Google Android or BlackBerry device. Just search for your old app and be presented with a list of alternative apps available for Windows 8. With built in notifications and live tiles, if you don’t find quite what you’re looking for, you can be alerted when a new match becomes available without even opening the app,” the app description reads.

AppSwitch features the ability to find Windows 8 apps that are similar to the apps on iOS, Android, and BlackBerry. You can search the Windows Store, Apple app store, Google Play, and BlackBerry app stores within this app. You can also receive notifications of new app availability and get live tile updates when new apps are available. This app is highly recommended by us and it is also free for Windows 8 and Windows RT. Hit the download link below to grab it!
