Microsoft has today announced that they have launched the Windows Phone web Marketplace in 22 more countries, opening up app potential in over two dozen online stores. The new countries can now surf the Marketplace just like normal, download apps and games too!

The 22 countries include Bulgaria, Costa Rica, Croatia, Estonia, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey, Ukraine, Venezuela, UAE, Bahrain, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kazakhstan, Israel, Thailand, and Vietnam.

If your country is listed above, then try to access the Marketplace now, you’ll be able to access and download apps and games from within the store.

Not only that, but the Marketplace also received some search result tweaks too, you should now get more relevant search results when searching keywords.

Also, the blog also noted that apps and games will soon require Windows Phone 7.5 to update , so if you are yet to update your phone software, now is the time to do so!
