Windows Phone Keyboard isn’t the world’s fastest keyboard anymore, Flesky for Android is

The Windows Phone 8.1 keyboard (Word Flow) doesn’t hold the title for the world’s fastest keyboard anymore. Beating it is Flesky, a third-party application for Android that has broken the Guinness World Record for fastest typing.

If you remember, Joe Belfiore showcased the Word Flow keyboard at the Windows Phone 8.1 unveiling during the Build conference last month. A user was able to type a 126-letter sentence in 18.44 seconds.

But now this record belongs to Flesky, which has enabled a user to get the same text written in 18.19 seconds. “Marcel Fernandes, a longtime Fleksy user, broke the record in New York City with a time of 18.19 seconds at an official Guinness event, making Fleksy the fastest smartphone keyboard in the world,” the company wrote.

That’s not much of a difference! You can also give it a shot and try to type the same text on your Windows Phone in better time. ”The razor-toothed piranhas of the genera Serrasalmus and Pygocentrus are the most ferocious freshwater fish in the world. In reality they seldom attack humans.” Let us know if you break the record!
