Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1 now available for Verizon's Samsung ATIV SE

Verizon has approved and is now rolling out Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1 for the Samsung ATIV SE. This new update adds Cortana, Start Screen improvements, World Flow keyboard, Action Center, and much more to the device. The device originally shipped back in 2014 with Windows Phone 8.0.

“Verizon Wireless is pleased to announce the Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1 for your Samsung ATIV SE. Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1 brings a host of new features and capabilities to your ATIV SE, all designed to make your phone even more useful and personalized than ever before,” Verizon stated.

The Samsung ATIV SE, for those that did not know, is a 5-inch device that features a 13 MP camera, 1080p display, 2GB of RAM, and 16 GB of storage. Head over to Settings > Phone Updates to snag the new software update. Let us know if you were able to install it!
