Windows Phone 8.1 Store experiencing issues for some users

Reports are rolling in, of Windows Phone users having issues with Store on Windows Phone 8.1 devices. As of now, a report is claiming that issues with the Windows Phone 8.1 Store range from users receiving error messages when attempting to access apps and problems with search results.

As for how widespread the Store issue spans, as of now, it seems to be relegated to the Windows Store on Windows Phone 8.1 devices. The Store for both Windows 10 PCs and Mobile appear to be unaffected by whatever is causing the issue.

Currently, Windows Phone 8 and 8.1 users make up a majority share of Microsoft’s smartphone development, so it seems safe to assume the issues will be addressed as soon as possible.

It should also be noted; Microsoft has said it plans to push Windows 10 Mobile to older devices sometime after tomorrow. The Store glitch that is affecting users today may have something to do with Microsoft’s promise to move over older devices to Windows 10 during the month of December.
