Microsoft has rolled out a new update to Windows Camera, available via the Windows Store. Unfortunately, Microsoft has not offered a change log (go figure), but several users on Reddit are reporting that this update addresses various issues relating to the Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book camera.
It seems some Surface Book owners were having issues with their rear camera and thankfully this update solves the problem. “Surface Book problem with the camera is resolved with this app update. Nice job Microsoft!” says one user. “Confirmed Fixed: Can now take pictures with SB rear camera,” said another.
