Windows 8.1 Update 1 with Bing leaked onto the internet just recently, raising a question as to why it comes “with Bing.” This particular build had Microsoft’s Bing search engine stamped all over it and is even mentioned during the initial setup experience. In fact, the operating system comes with Bing Maps and other Bing services pre-installed. The build string is 9600.17024.WINBLUE_GDR_S14SKU_PARTNER.14 0214-1700. It is likely possible that the general public will not see this particular variant of the operating system update as it may be geared towards OEMs. That’s all there is to know about this varient and we will keep you posted if anything new comes up.
