Windows 8.1 Preview updated with new betta fish boot screen

Windows 8.1 public preview boot

A screenshot of an unknown build of Windows 8.1 has made it’s way onto the Internet today, revealing a new boot screen for the public preview launching later this week. The boot screen is similar to the Windows 8 Consumer Preview one, but has been more coloured and metrofied.

We are just a week away from the Windows 8.1 public preview, which means its possible that Microsoft have already compiled the final public preview build. Microsoft is expected to release the Windows 8.1 public preview at its annual BUILD developer conference this week.
