Xbox Music for Windows 8.1

With the Windows Store now open on the recent Windows 8.1 leaked builds, updates coming to the Windows 8.1 Preview are beginning to surface early. One of the biggest updates coming to Windows 8.1 is for the Xbox Music app, which is set to receive a UI overhaul. While the update isn’t currently available for download, it is listed in the now open Windows 8.1 Store, which means screenshots are available.

From the screenshots, we can see that the Xbox Music app will be receiving a complete UI overhaul in the Windows 8.1 update. It’s unclear whether this app will be included with the Windows 8.1 Preview, or if it will need to be downloaded as an update through the Windows Store.

We expect to get our first hands on with the new Windows 8.1 updates on June 26, which is the day Microsoft plan to release the update to the public at it’s Annual BUILD developer conference. Stick around for more!
