It has been widely reported that we will see a public preview build of Windows 8.1 (Windows Blue) during the Build 2013 developer conference in June. Now, it appears that Microsoft has delivered a “Developer Preview” build of Windows 8.1 to OEM partners.

Now much is known about this build, except that it is build 9391 and is being labeled as the “Developer Preview.” Could this also be the build that Microsoft releases during Build 2013? We’ll just have to wait and find out. This report comes from win8china.com. Microsoft is expected to deliver Windows 8.1 via the Windows Store once it becomes available.

Microsoft recently revealed that Windows 8 has sold over 100 million Windows 8 licenses since it’s launch back in October 2012. This means Microsoft has been making on average 15 million sales per month. Microsoft is expected to release a preview build of Windows 8.1 (codename Windows Blue) during Build 2013 in June.
