Windows 8 Consumer Preview (Beta) was recently released and the company has just announced that one million downloads of the Consumer Preview took place in just one day. It is no surprise that this highly anticipated build of Windows 8 would be so popular.
Microsoft announced via a twitter post that the company had reached one million Windows 8 Consumer Preview downloads in just one day. This is twice what the Developer Preview had achieved in just one day of its release.
Microsoft has stated that Windows 8 was designed to be beautiful, modern, fast, and fluid. Since the Developer Preview build of Windows 8, released back in September of 2011, Microsoft has made over 100,000 changes to Windows 8.
