Windows 8 beta sign-off to begin soon, new images emerge – onmsft.com

More screenshots have emerged of a build of Windows 8 that was compiled on the 15th December 2011, which show off more of the features Microsoft have been working on the past few months. Also, new information is stating that Microsoft is finalizing builds, and is ready to sign off the Windows 8 beta soon.

WinUnleaked.tk, well-known for it’s close sources on Windows 8, has today released more screenshots and information on Windows 8. The images released show of improved features, changes and more to the operating system.

The screenshot above, shows some improvements to the installprep in Windows 8, not much has changed, except a new darker background.

Metro buttons have gone over some UI improvements, as well as new close, maximize and minimize buttons

There is also a new default start page wallpaper, it is darker and has swirly lines across the top and bottom, it is not clear whether this wallpaper is the default one for RTM, or just for the beta.

WinUnleaked have also said that Microsoft are almost ready to sign-off the Windows 8 beta, the sign-off should be this month.

Microsoft is almost ready for a Windows 8 beta, with it being due in around 2 months, the company are working hard to get the beta ready for the public.
