Telegram Desktop for both Windows 10 and 11 has gotten an update in the Microsoft Store moving the app version to 4.5.3.  With the new version, numbers come a few notable feature enhancements as well.

You can now hide media by wrapping your photos and videos in a “fuzzy cover” meaning users have to click on them before seeing their content.  You also have the ability to set your own picture for each contact, and only you will be able to see those pictures on their profiles.  Those using Telegram for large group chats now have more privacy options, the group owner can hide the list of participants in the group from view.

Recent updates and features also include the ability to create an @username from the settings page, a download manager, and new features for live streaming.  If you want more there is a Telegram Premium offering that offers free storage in the Telegram Cloud and the ability to send files up to 4GB in size.  You can learn more about those options here.
