Microsoft is rolling out Cumulative Update Build 22616.100 (KB5014650) to Windows Insiders in the Dev & Beta Channels. This services build 22616 from May 5 and doesn’t come with any new features.

Hey Folks – We have a new #Windows11 preview build for #WindowsInsiders in Dev & Beta Channels – Check out all the details here

As usual with these builds, Microsoft is just testing the servicing pipeline. There’s nothing new to play with here, but you should download it anyway to keep your PC up to date. As a reminder, build 22616 brings the new controller bar feature and a lot of bug fixes. The system tray and specifically the “Show hidden icons” flyout in this original release also were changed so it functions the same way it did with the original release of Windows 11.

Happy downloading, Windows Insiders! And, remember, the window for switching from Dev Channel to the Beta Channel is closing soon.
