Windows 10 Your Phone now lets users delete their smartphone photos

Microsoft is rolling out a new feature that allows users to delete their smartphone photos directly from Windows 10 PCs. As spotted by Aggiornamenti Lumia, the new functionality is currently under a controlled rollout, and it’s rolling out gradually to select Insiders.

.@MSYourPhone has finally started rolling out the new “Delete photos” feature to #windowsinsiders (controlled rollout) https://t.co/fcYj12MMuV

A demo for this feature is shown above, and the process looks considerably straightforward. To delete a photo, select the “Delete” option available at the top right corner of your screen, and then click the “Delete Photos” button. If you confirm the operation, the selected photo will be instantly deleted from your phone’s photo gallery.

Even though the ability to delete photos will be a welcome addition to Your Phone, the app still doesn’t allow users to delete videos. We hope the company will expand this capability to videos in the coming weeks. Have you spotted this feature on your PCs? Sound off in the comments down below.
