Windows 10

This Wednesday, Microsoft will show off a brand new build of Windows 10 under a new preview name. No longer will they refer to the Windows 10 preview as ‘Technical Preview’ instead they will refer to it as ‘Insider Preview’. The most recent builds of Windows 10 are now branded as such, and rightly timed too as RTM is just a couple months away.

The Insider Preview should be its new name for the foreseeable future, as said Insider program is set to continue all the way up and after Windows 10 RTMs later this year. Microsoft is planning to use the Insider Program to continue testing upcoming updates such as Redstone, which is set to arrive sometime in 2016.

The BUILD developer conference is tomorrow, and Microsoft is expected to talk more about its plans for the future, as well as show off more HoloLens, Windows 10 for phones, and Xbox stuff. Stay tuned at WinBeta as we’ll have coverage for you LIVE as it happens.
