Windows 10 technical preview for phones will likely support 512mb ram windows phones

According to Gabriel Aul on Twitter, Windows 10 Technical Preview will support Windows phone devices with 512MB RAM. As Microsoft’s Engineering General Manager, Aul made the unofficial announcement on Twitter, responding some tweets inquiring about 512MB RAM support for Windows 10 Technical Preview for Windows Phones.

It should be noted that Aul confirmed that 512MB RAM support would be available for the first preview build for Windows 10, but there doesn’t appear to be any information on whether subsequent builds will support devices with 512MB RAM.

@Qushery @NicholasHayman Hmmm. Do I cave? Don’t think you can squeeze anything ELSE out of me:-) Yes, we’ll have 512MB devices for 1st prvw.

Microsoft is still in the process of confirming the list of supported Windows Phones that will be able to use the Windows 10 Technical Preview, so it’s anyones guess as to which 512MB RAM Windows Phones will be supported. So, if you are still sporting a 512MB RAM Windows Phone, you will very likely get your hands on Windows 10 Technical Preview.
