Windows 10 Sticky Notes

After a period of testing with Windows Insiders, Microsoft has finally rolled out to all users a big update for the Sticky Notes app on Windows 10. This version 2.1 update brings a design revamp, faster loading times, and much more.

Foremost of the changes is a new app icon, which Microsoft says is more “pretty” than before. Also in this update is a new a settings option for font size, and a square color palate for note color, found by pressing on the (…) menu at the top of a sticky note. See Microsoft’s Jen Gentleman demo of the updated Sticky Notes app below.

Microsoft promises this update brings performance improvements which should help make Sticky notes load faster. Interestingly, the update also makes the app compatible with the App Preview Program, which gives Windows Insiders early access to new app features. Head to the Windows Store now to update, and let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
