Windows 10 Stan app updates with support for Stan Sports and lots of Rugby

The official app for the Australian streaming service, Stan, updated for Windows 10 devices this week.

The app update was a rather small one but it added support for the new Stan Sport content which launched this month. Unlike the various TV shows and films, access to the Stan Sport content will set users back an additional $10 on top of whatever subscription plan they’re currently on. A free 30-day trial of Stan Sport is available for those who want to try it before they buy.

Currently Rugby, Wimbledon, and Roland-Garros matches and content is included with Stan Sport though more is expected to be added over time.

Stan is a popular Australian streaming service that features a combination of both local and international films, series, and now, sports.

Do you use Stan and are you going to upgrade to Stan Sports? Let us know in the comments below and then follow us on Twitter and Pinterest for more Windows 10 content.
