Windows 10 for phones build 10072 screenshots leaked, showing new transparency options and more

Microsoft is expected to release a new build for Windows 10 for phones later this week, but it seems the folks at ITHome  have managed to get their hands on the unreleased build 10072. The publication, which has been a source of good information when it comes to leaked builds, showcased a number of screenshots of the Windows 10 for phones build 10072.

Although, it doesn’t bring any major new features, it offers a number of notable enhancements and tweaks, including a new transparency slider for Live Tiles, which was rumored to be in works earlier this year. With this new option, users get the ability to control the transparency of the Live Tiles, allowing users to have a more personalized Start Screen. Furthermore, the choices of solid colors that users can select are bumped from 21 to 48, as well as the ability to download the Word Preview and Powerpoint Preview.

There’s no word on when Windows Insiders can expect the update, but it shouldn’t be too far away. We’ll update you as soon as Microsoft starts rolling out a new build for Windows 10 for phones. In the meantime, head over to the source link below to view all the screenshots.
